We partnered with the Town of Chapel Hill Economic Development, Orange County Economic Development, Walker Lambe Rhudy Costley and Gill, and The Carolina Inn to host a Women in Businesss and Leadership Symposium at the Inn on Monday. We were honored to have former Gov. Bev Perdue speak. See more photos of this event here.

It was a beautiful Sunday for soccer, and the UNC Men’s Soccer team killed the Wilmington Hammerheads in this pre-season game.

Bubles-Pearls

The Carolina Inn hosted a fantastic Bubbles and Pearls – yes, that would be sparkling wine + oysters – dinner on Thursday. Our thanks to Chef James Clark and his entire team. The oyster sausage with mushroom gravy over grits was life changing.

Our 10th anniversary issues arrived last week! Our company leaders Dan Shannon, Rory Gillis and Andrea Cash are so grateful for a decade of community support!

For our 10th anniversary issue, we recreated three of our favorite covers that feature kids. We ran into the Freeman girls’ parents, and they loved the uncanny results of our second photo shoot, three years later.
