It's Easter weekend, and there are great events happening all over town!

carolinainnKids’ Easter Egg & Cookie Decorating Party – Thursday, 5-7pm – Bring the whole family to The Root Cellar and sip on milk from Maple View Farm while you decorate Easter-themed fare.

Orange County Easter Egg Hunt – Thursday, 5:30-7:30pm – Bring your Easter basket and hunt for over 12,000 eggs hidden throughout River Park in Hillsborough! This community event will also include giant inflatables, face painting, crafts, games and more.

Tom Angleberger & John Claude – Thursday, 6pm – Both of these authors of youth literature come to Flyleaf to discuss their new books.

Artist Reception for Murray Handler @ the Strowd – Thursday, 6-9pm – Enjoy an artistic evening where light wine and hors d’oeuvres will be available.

Tartes and Posies – Friday and Saturday – Pick up a little pizzazz for your easter brunch – a tarte and bouquet – during this special two-day popup shop at The Parlour at Manns Chapel. You’ll need to preorder these lovelies!

UNC Baseball Game – Friday, 5pm – Take your kids out to a ball game at Boshamer Stadium and cheer on the Tar Heels as they take on Georgia Tech.

UNC Softball Game – Friday, 6pm – The softball team will take on Florida State!

Last Fridays Art Walk – Friday, 6-9pm – Take a walk in downtown Hillsborough while enjoying live music, tasty eats and local art. The walk will offer a variety of visual arts and fine crafts including LUMINOUS at Hillsborough Gallery of Arts.

Easter Cookie Decorating class – Saturday, 11am-2pm – Southern Season is providing the egg-shaped cookies, icing and counter space; you bring the kiddos!

Maple View Farm’s 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, 12:45pm – Candy, prizes, ice cream, oh my! The Easter bunny will also be stopping by!

Adult Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, 2-3:30pm – Hunt for hundreds of eggs filled with cash, gift cards, spirits and more at Paws4ever while enjoying lively bluegrass and delicious refreshments.

Mount Moriah at Cat’s Cradle – Saturday, 9pm – This North Carolina-based band performs their newest album, How to Dance.

Annual Easter Brunch Buffet at City Kitchen – Sunday, 10:30am-3pm – Easter brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas!

Easter Brunch @ Southern Season – Sunday, 11am-4pm – Leave all the meal prep to executive chef Bo Peterson and take your family to this three course brunch.

Beer and Hymns – Sunday, 7:30 pm – This group comes to Chapel Hill for a special night of – you guessed it – hymns and local craft beer. Donations will benefit Orange County Justice United.
