Account exec Melissa Crane and assistant editor Jessica Stringer stopped by South for the Julie Vos trunk show. (Psst.. Need a Mother’s Day card? Jessica saw quite a few at the shop.)
Jessica spotted this and a few other active words at Community Park.
Art director Sarah Arneson tried the chicken liver pate at the newly opened Tandem.
Marketing associate Jenny Hunt enjoyed a peaceful stroll through Battle Park with her family.
She also stopped by the Carrboro Farmers’ Market to pick up some strawberries.
It didn’t disappoint.
With the help of her father’s pie-making skills, they turned those luscious berries into strawberry-rhubarb pie, which was amazing.
At the market, Jenny also picked up some Calvander cheese from Chapel Hill Creamery. Her dad said it was the best cheese he’s ever eaten.
To top off an eventful Saturday, Jenny and her folks had a late dinner at Acme, and of course she had to get the steak frites.
