Med Deli

Assistant editor Laura Kirk always goes for the vegetarian case at Mediterranean Deli, but ordering off the specials menu can be a fantastic experience too!

Maple View

Maple View Farm is known for Carolina Crunch, but the dairy farm also produces incredible, uber-fresh buttermilk. A bottle hasn’t gone bad on Laura yet.
JUJUBE

Account executive Karli Kittine tried two new dishes at Jujube for lunch – shrimp and pork dumplings and a not pictured but just as tasty gazpacho.

Liquidambar

A walk through downtown Pittsboro is incomplete without a stop in Liquidambar Gallery and Gifts. Senior account executive Melissa Crane loved these handmade clay pendants and earrings.

Carolina Inn

It was sweets, savories and scones galore at The Carolina Inn‘s afternoon tea this weekend. Complete with chocolate-dipped strawberries and a glass of Prosecco, it was one of the best high tea spreads Laura has ever enjoyed.
Paperhand Puppets

Paperhand Puppet Intervention performed their last shows at UNC’s Forest Theatre this labor day weekend. (As you can see, “The Beautiful Beast” creatures were absolutely remarkable.) Next, the group travels to Raleigh and Greensboro.

Sunrise
