The Southern Village Farmers' Market opened yesterday, complete with beautiful weather, a performance by the fifth grade chorus at Mary Scroggs Elementary and a cooking demonstration by Il Palio Ristorante. And, of course, fresh, quality produce from local vendors. Here is just a taste of what the first farmers' market of the season out on the village green looked like:
