7pm: Sam Stephenson gives a multimedia presentation at Flyleaf Books to explain the making of The Jazz Loft Project. Free.

8pm: In The Break/s: A Mixtape for Stage at Memorial Hall, poet Marc Bamuthi Joseph delves into the world of hip-hop through his own personal narrative. $10-$20.

Saturday, Jan. 30

8:30pm: Urban cowboy Justin Townes Earle and soulful storyteller Dawn Landes take the ArtsCenter stage. $14-$16.

8:30pm: The Urban Sophisticates, Kaze, The Beast and Inflowential perform at Cat’s Cradle. $6-$8.

Sunday, Jan. 31

1-4pm: Getting married? Don’t miss the Carolina Inn Bridal Fair, featuring the area’s top wedding professionals. (And be sure to stop by the Chapel Hill Magazine booth.) $10.

3pm: At Stores and Stories of Old Hillsboro, four longtime citizens – Wesley Woods, Gee Coleman, Sherry Freeland and Remus Smith – lead a walk down the business district and share memories that will help the audience visualize the town in days gone by. Meets at Central Senior Center at Meadowlands. Free.
