Last night was a busy one here in Chapel Hill! While Lisa covered Art from the Heart, I headed to The Franklin Hotel Cathy Forneris, medical co-director for the Beacon Program, and Diana Bass, the organization's program director.for the Silent (No More!) Auction. The event benefited the Family Violence Prevention Center of Orange County and UNC Hospitals' Beacon Program, which provides comprehensive care to UNC Health Care patients who are experiencing family violence.

Emceed by Aaron Nelson of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, the auction had four honorary co-hosts: Councilwoman Sally Greene and her husband, Paul Jones; and Gary Park, president of UNC Hospitals, and his wife, Cindy Park.
