New Medical Day Spa Opens in Chapel Hill

Julia Smith, a registered nurse, thinks you do. Tired of seeing unsanitary tools used at nail salons and hearing her friends’ spa horror stories, Julia decided to start Medical Day Spa of Chapel Hill so guests can relax in a place that is clean and luxurious. Clients at the spa will receive the pampering they seek in a spa experience, but in an environment with the same standards of care attributed to a medical or surgical facility. All instruments are sterilized before and after use, and the staff is comprised of registered nurses, physicians and licensed aestheticians and massage therapists.

Julia and her team are excited to announce that this Friday, Oct. 14, Medical Day Spa is having an open house to celebrate its launch. Stop by from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for a complimentary skincare consultation with an Obagi product representative or to have your picture taken with the Reveal camera, which shows skin damage to the cellular level.

There will also be refreshments, door prizes and product specials, and all visitors will be entered into a drawing for the impressive grand prize: a $750 spa gift certificate!

Located at 109 Conner Drive, near University Mall, Medical Day Spa provides a variety of services for men and women, including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, waxing, corrective skin care, cosmetic injections and much more.
