The streets of East 54 came alive yesterday with a grand opening celebration.

A ribbon cutting kicked off the event which included live music by The Nomads; classic cars on display; inflatable fun houses and slides for kids; street performers making balloon animals; food samples from Archira Thai and Sushi, Piola, Saffron and Streets Deli; live models showcasing fall fashions from fab'rik and Hadley Emerson; prizes giveaways and hot air balloon lifts.
