Moms, you may have to give up your Valentine's Day date for at least an afternoon, because Triangle Youth Ballet is hosting their second annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m at Extraordinary Ventures.
After last year's turnout, which yielded twice the number of participants than originally expected, the Triangle Youth Ballet is excited to host this event for the second year to celebrate families and the art of dance. And in the spirit of celebrating families, mothers and sons are encouraged to participate as well.

The cost is $20 for each parent and $15 per child, which includes a portrait from Photo Specialties, a DJ from Party Down Productions, special activities led by ballerinas from the Triangle Youth Ballet and a buffet lined with Valentine's Day desserts.
Triangle Youth Ballet's mission is to train dancers and instill a deeper understanding of dance arts in the local community.
