At the early age of 14, Jake Dean discovered the magic of live music when he saw Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead blow the roof off of Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. Returning from those shows back home to Nashville, TN, where he was born, the fire had already started to ignite. “I remember thinking….. I don’t know how I’m going to do it yet, but live music is what I’m going to do”, said Dean. As the years went past Jake worked on his craft until finally it was time to start performing his own shows! After a move to Arizona he played in the band 3D Ride and the Jake Dean Band. With improvisational but structured influences, the bands allowed him to cultivate his style of combing rock, folk, blues and funk with climactic jams.
Recently Jake relocated back to the area after a five-year run in Arizona. Jake is super excited to play at his old favorite venues and can’t wait for all the new ones!
