The Public Education Action Team of the League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham counties is hosting a forum for parents, educators and the interested public.

A panel of local educators will discuss the impact of budgeting and policy decisions on classrooms in their districts. Four school districts: Chapel Hill-Carrboro, Chatham County, Durham Public and Orange County, will be represented and each will examine the topic through their unique lens using specific examples of what is occurring in their classrooms and schools.

Come ready to be educated, inspired and able to act in support of our public schools. Afterwards attendees should be prepared to voice accurate information, to vote thoughtfully, to volunteer as advocates for public education, and to validate the accomplishments of our schools.

This event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available.
