    Pints for Prostates is coming to Chapel Hill for a prostate cancer awareness event on Sept. 19 from 5-8pm at The Crunkleton. The bar is partnering with Pints for Prostates and UNC Lineberger to create awareness and raise money for prostate cancer prevention and treatment. The event will host different health care professionals, including a family doctor, urologist, and oncologist to talk about the various aspects of this cancer.

    The Crunkleton hopes to create a friendly environment where all of the guests are talking about the issue, having fun drinking beer, listening to live music, and advocating for an important cause. $1 from every beer sold at the event, and throughout the month of September, will be donated to Pints for Prostates and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.

    Owner Gary Crunkleton is excited about the partnership with Pints for Prostates and UNC Lineberger. Gary said, “We hope the event will generate awareness about prostate cancer and provide an opportunity for guests to communicate comfortably with professionals about this important men’s health issue.”

    Entry to the event at The Crunkleton on Wednesday, September 19, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. is free.
