Cantari presents “Music by Dan Locklair” @ Chapel of the Cross

Cantari, the Voices Ensemble is pleased to announce its spring program “Music by Dan Locklair”, featuring two works by the highly acclaimed composer from North Carolina. “A DuBose Heyward Triptych” portraying the city of Charleston, SC, with its coastal beauty and Civil War history, and “Requiem,” a lovely, serene setting accompanied by organist Matthew Brown.

Dan Locklair, a native of Charlotte, NC, is Composer-in-Residence and Professor of Music at Wake Forest University. He and his wife, Paula, will be attending Cantari’s performance in March.
