Local community heroes from the Chapel Hill Police Department show that they are also “Reading Role Models” by reading a story or two with kids and answering questions about the work they do.
No agenda, and no speeches, just a chance for neighbors to come meet Chapel Hill Police officers. Voice a complaint, share a compliment, and talk over coffee.
The first of a monthly series, this event creates a space for folks to share stories with one another in an informal setting. For this event, our storytellers have not rehearsed, planned, or scripted their ideas– they just tell them as they are! Every month there will be a different theme. Not all stories may be appropriate for children under the age of 16.
Come to listen, share, and talk to some strangers. Community at it’s best.
Sign up starts at 6:45.
