MLK Birthday Celebration @ Northgate Mall

Join Northgate Mall and NC MomsRising at the 7th annual MLK Birthday Celebration.
Families are invited to Durham for a giant kid-focused birthday party to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King on MLK Day.
Event activities include free English/Spanish story times, arts and crafts, kids’ Zumba, drumming performance, interactive activities, service projects such as a food and clothes drive benefiting Urban Ministries, and birthday cake as we celebrate Dr. King’s life and legacy in a way that kids can understand. This event is free and appropriate for ages 0-100.

11th Annual Triangle Resource Fair @ UNC Frank Porter Graham Student Union
Feb 3 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Triangle Resource Fair is an opportunity for students and community members to connect with LGBTQ-affirming organizations throughout the triangle. The fair is also a great way to find volunteer opportunities. There will be lots of activities and opportunities to win door prizes!

Go Chapel Hill Bike Night @ Downtown Chapel Hill
May 5 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Bike night takes place on May 5, 2017 from 6-9pm at 140 West Franklin Street Plaza. There will be a bicycle parade along with many biking activities, including a blender bike. All ages welcome.

Movies Under the Stars @ Wallace Plaza
May 20 all-day

This year’s sports themed movie series will kick off on May 20 at Boshamer Stadium with a baseball themed movie chosen by a popularity contest. Be sure to vote.
Thursdays from 6/15 – 8/17 the movies will take place at the Wallace Plaza. Check the Town of Chapel Hill website for times. Free Admission and Free Popcorn!

Festifall @ Downtown Chapel Hill
