Earth Action Day

Held at Southern Community Park and organized by Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation, Earth Action Day gave members of the community a chance to learn about the environment through exhibits and interactive activities for all ages. The event also featured live entertainment, a food pavilion and a 5k race, which was held for the first time this year and garnered 100 runners who raised a total of $5,000.
