Mackenzie Brough works on the perfect shot.
On a chilly December day, photographer Mackenzie Brough, art director Kevin Brown and I descended upon the Dean Dome. But we didn't have tickets in hand. In fact, it wasn't even a game day.
We were there to meet -- and photograph -- a UNC legend. But Phil Ford acted like anything but, shaking hands with fans at the Carolina Basketball Museum, encouraging JV players during a practice and complimenting Kendall Marshall on a so-far-so-great season.
He also took the time to get to know us a bit. It's the kind of thing you always remember.
