Stuart and Leyla's master bedroom is a cozy place for the family to relax on Saturday mornings.
In our January/February 2013 issue that's all about celebrating families, it seems appropriate that we featured the home of a lively, loving family of five: Stuart and Leyla Gans and their sons, Joshua, 8, Micha, 5, and Aden, 3, who attend Montessori Community School.
The Ganses' 4,000-square-foot home on Glenn Glade, nestled deep in the hills of Governors Club, has the feel of a mountain retreat, but with high-design elements. We loved its soaring ceilings and open rooms with fantastic views -- the great room, for example, features accordion doors that fold away for full exposure to the patio and outdoors -- and fun, artsy decor, such as a pair of ikat-print chairs in the great room, and the boys' artwork framed and hanging collage-style in the dining area.
