On Sunday, Oct. 14, the Friends of Moorefields hosted the annual Moorefields on the Lawn, an elegant outdoor event to support the historic Hillsborough property, which was built in 1785 and is now dedicated as a community arts, preservation, environmental and education resource. The evening featured dinner and music by Triangle Jazz Orchestra.
