Calvin

Every other week, Chapel Hill Magazine features an adoptable animal from Orange County Animal Services.

This is Calvin. He is a neutered male, approximately 4 years old. Calvin is fluffy, affectionate and funny. He cannot refrain from rolling around on his cat tree and making cute little noises when the staff enters his room. He adores people and he can’t wait to get to his forever home.

The adoption fee for Cats & Kittens includes the following services: spaying/neutering, deworming, microchip, vaccinations and feline leukemia testing.

Orange County Animal Services is responsible for Animal Sheltering and Animal Control activities within Orange County.  Its mission is to meet the needs of residents by working with volunteers and other partners to deliver cost-effective and integrated services that ensure the health, safety and well-being of humans, pets, and the community as a whole.  The Animal Services Center is open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon – 6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from noon – 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday from noon – 5 p.m.  For more information, visit orangecountync.gov/departments/animalservices or call 919-942-PETS (7387).
