Thursday:

Come to the opening night of East Chapel Hill High School’s musical performance of The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling. This tale of several awkward middle schoolers finding joy, heartache and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee features six spellers as well as four “to be announced” audience members that will join them on the stage.

Friday:

The New Yorker film critic and Pulitzer Prize winner Hilton Als is coming to Carolina Performing Arts to debut his play Lives of the Performers, which will explore themes of race, self identity and sisterhood. 

Saturday:

Watch world-class films of every length and genre on the big screens at the 13th annual Carrboro Film Festival. There will also be parties, workshops and networking opportunities throughout the two-day celebration.

Sunday:

If you’re looking for something festive, She Loves Me at PlayMakers is a must-do. This adaptation of the famous Hungarian play Parfumerie is a holiday musical full of comedy and love.
