The Carrboro Film Festival (CFF) is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year! It has grown to become the premiere festival in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Featuring world-class films of every length and genre, the CFF is known for packed houses and standing ovations. This year’s theme is “Celebrating North Carolina Film Makers,” featuring celebrities from the North Carolina film industry.
In honor of this special anniversary, we have planned our most exciting film festival yet! See 31 movies in two days! Learn from the best at three workshops with professional filmmakers! Meet two very Special Guests: Film Editor Michael R. Miller (“Ghost World,” “Miller’s Crossing,” “Raising Arizona,” and “Manhattan”) and Director/Screenwriter Patrick Read Johnson (“Spaced Invaders,” “Baby’s Day Out,” “Angus,” “When Good Ghouls Go Bad.” We will also be screening his much-anticipated new film “5-25-77” with a Q&A to follow. Enjoy parties, networking opportunities, and more surprises! Attend the Awards Ceremony, with original trophies created by Carrboro sculptor Mike Roig!
Tickets are just $20 for a two-day pass, and $15 for a one-day pass. All workshops, Special Guest presentations, and Q&A’s with filmmakers are included in the admission price. Purchase tickets at the ArtsCenter Box Office or online at: www.etix.com/ticket/e/1002603&partner_id=240. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets now! It’s going to be a truly memorable weekend of film and fun!
