Join us for a presentation on threats to the watershed and ways to defend safe drinking water. Northeast Creek Watch and League of Women Voters will be holding a presentation on protecting safe drinking water in the Triangle area. Haw River keeper, Emily Sutton, will join us in discussing water quality issues in the watershed and what we can do to advocate for better practices to keep drinking water safe for all people. Other presenters and exhibits include Durham Soil and Water and the NC Botanical Gardens. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Contact emily@hawriver.org with questions.
