    Durham Centerfest

    Sep 20, 2015 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Join us for the 41st Annual CenterFest Arts Festival, produced and presented by the Durham Arts Council. CenterFest is the longest-running street arts festival in North Carolina. Over 140 juried visual artists from all over the country will showcase and sell their original, handcrafted work in Clay, Drawing, Fibers, Glass, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Wood, Jewelry, Mixed Media, and Sculpture. It is truly one-stop shopping for art lovers! Over 72 performing arts groups featuring 500+ performers fill four stages with continuous music, dance and entertainment, and the CenterFest Creative Kids Zone provides hands-on arts activities. Along with international cuisine and 30+ non-profit, government and civic organizations, CenterFest is Durham’s largest cultural and community event. To learn more about the festival, including individual artists and performers, or how to be a volunteer or sponsor, visit www.centerfest.durhamarts.org. Admission is free and open to the public. Suggested $5.00 donation at the gates will help the Durham Arts Council to produce CenterFest and will also go to other DAC Programs such as the Annual Arts Fund and the Durham Arts Council School and Camp.
