There’s always something to celebrate at Glasshalfull! Join us on for a wine dinner with Florent Bourgeois, owner-winemaker of Domaine Gérard Fiou in Sancerre, along with importer Thomas Meunier.
Florent Bourgeois estate of 24 acres in Sancerre is based in Saint-Satur. Saint-Satur is part of a thin band of silex (flint) terroir. This terroir is unique in Sancerre to the eastern part of the appellation. Florent’s vineyard has a perfect southeastern exposure that is excellent for ripening. Matched to this terroir the wines have ripe fruit, wonderful mineral components and beautiful structure.
We will be offering a wonderful 4-course dinner that complements Florents sauvignon blancs from Sancerre and Menetou-Salon along with his pinot noir from Sancerre. You will also be dining for a cause since every Tuesday 10% of Glasshalfull’s gross sales goes to support UNC Lineberger.
