James Rickards, Op-Ed contributor to the Financial Times, The Evening Standard, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, will be delivering a talk on the international monetary system. “The evidence is that Russia, China, Iran, and Turkey along with smaller players such as North Korea and Syria are moving quickly toward a gold-backed monetary system in order to settle payments and avoid U.S. sanctions. This has enormous implications for the price of gold and the future role of the U.S. dollar.” Mr. Rickards is also author of the bestselling books “Currency Wars,” ” The Death Of Money,” and “ The New Case For Gold.” He is currently editor of Strategic Intelligence, a financial newsletter, and director of the James Rickards Project, an inquiry into the complex dynamics of geopolitics and global capital.
