Every event of our lives leaves an impression on the mind/body; every sight, smell, sound and every thought. This constant input is impossible to process, so what is not processed is stored in the body. Eventually these stored memories build up and create tension and block energetic ‘flow’ in the body/mind.
These tension ‘blockades’ can feel like mental, physical or emotional resistance, isolation, tightness, back pain, fatigue, agitation, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, numbness and flight.
These MBCY Restorative Yoga Nidra techniques release tension and train the mind to focus on slowing the breath so that the body can begin to release this tension to develop mindful awareness for modern times, with great benefit for thousands of persons. In this Restorative Yoga Nidra Workshop, we will explore practical ways to support awareness in the present moment with props, calming singing bowl tones, language and hands-on assists. All of these MBCY Restorative techniques have been researched to enhance quality of life by supporting the nervous system to re-set into a calm container that can hold more energy and renew health.
This workshop is open to all levels of experience and capacity. To register, visit www.globalbreath.org/events
