This year readers worldwide celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s pioneering novel. The first local celebration is “Reconstructing Frankenstein’s Monster: Mary Shelley’s World in Print,” an exhibit of Frankenstein-related rare books and medical items, curated by UNC-Chapel Hill honors students, held at the Saltarelli Exhibit Room in Wilson Library at UNC-CH. The exhibit opens with a celebration Thursday, April 26, from 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm, and remains on display until August 26.
