Shakedown Street: A six-piece, local Grateful Dead tribute band that, through four part harmonies, loose-yet-accurate improvisation, and an organic sound, replicates the joyful sounds of the Grateful Dead with ease.
A concert to benefit The Helping Hand Project, a local charity that focuses on providing custom prosthetic devices and support to kids in need. Started and run by UNC biomedical engineering students, the non-profit is fully volunteer run with 100% of donations going to the cause.
