Kidzu Children’s Museum is pleased to present its annual Teddy Bear Clinic. In partnership with Kidzu, volunteer students from UNC School of Medicine and Orange County Safe Kids will provide this opportunity for your child to learn about health, safety, and hospital procedures. Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their favorite doll or stuffed animal. Kidzu staff will “register” the “patient” (the doll or stuffed animal) and children will follow along as their doll is examined by the nursing students. The process will help children understand the examination procedure, and feel less anxious about medical procedures and equipment.
