All Component wines are made of a single varietal in Napa Valley, California and Bordeaux, France. Founder Michael Kennedy, who made Forbes Magazine‘s“30 under 30” for 2017, will personally lead us through his selections. For this dinner Michael will focus on his Napa wines: Semillon, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. To accompany each Component selection, Executive Chef Kevin Draper will curate a symphony of Bin 54 flavors to match.

The sun may be setting on Summer, but we aren’t ready to let the sizzle of party weather cool down at City Kitchen! Join us on Thursday, October 18th for our first in a series of monthly shindigs on our newly renovated CK Garden Patio.
Our kick-off event, Wine & Brine, will feature a fresh & briny seafood bar with a selection of oysters on the half shell, littleneck clams, shrimp, mussels, & grilled octopus salad from 6:15-7:00pm. Then from 7:15-7:45 we’ll be rolling out a low country boil with shrimp, clams, mussels, corn, potatoes and andouille sausage plus grilled corn salsa, german potato salad, & iceberg with buttermilk blue cheese dressing. Signature accompaniments will include dill-cucumber mignonette, shallot-black pepper red wine vinegar mignonette, bloody mary fresh horseradish sauce!
Giorgios Group Wine Director, Michael Maller, has also curated some choice selections to accompany the seafood, and will provide a complimentary tasting of wines that will pair well with the brine! Wines will include a Muscadet, the most classic wine for oysters from France’s Atlantic coast, an Albariño from North Carolina’s Outerbanks, a crisp rosé because rosé is not just for summer anymore, and a couple of other treats. Come try some classic shellfish pairings as well as something outside of the box.
