RECONSTRUCTING FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER: MARY SHELLEY’S WORLD IN PRINT @ Saltarelli Exhibit Room, Wilson Library, UNC Campus

This year readers worldwide celebrate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s pioneering novel. The first local celebration is “Reconstructing Frankenstein’s Monster: Mary Shelley’s World in Print,” an exhibit of Frankenstein-related rare books and medical items, curated by UNC-Chapel Hill honors students, held at the Saltarelli Exhibit Room in Wilson Library at UNC-CH. The exhibit opens with a celebration Thursday, April 26, from 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm, and remains on display until August 26. Wilson Library’s hours are M-F 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Sun 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The address is 200 South Road, Chapel Hill NC 27515; phone 919-962-3765.
